Antique Figural Mantle Clock
A striking antique figural mantel clock featuring a beautifully detailed fisherman figure cast in gilt-toned spelter. The figure is seated above the clock case, holding a fishing rod, with naturalistic rock and foliage details forming the base. This sculptural clock makes a dramatic statement on a mantel, sideboard, or shelf and is a wonderful example of Victorian-era decorative clocks. Likely French in origin from the late 19th century to early 20th century.
The clock face features Roman numerals with a classic white dial and black hands, housed in an ornate beaded bezel. The sculptural quality and warm gilt finish give this piece timeless European charm.
